MUSTANG ARENA
One of Ostrava’s landmarks was completed and officially opened in 1986. Over the years, it has become a major sports and cultural center and a sought-after venue for national, European, and world championships, concerts by top music stars, sports tournaments, and other popular events.
The arena is the home of the HC VÍTKOVICE RIDERA hockey team.
It underwent renovation and modernization at the turn of 2003 and 2004 and was officially reopened on April 6, 2004, with a concert by José Carreras.
From 2016, the arena was known as OSTRAVAR ARÉNA, and since 2026, it has been called MUSTANG ARÉNA.
Currently, MUSTANG ARÉNA is one of the sports venues owned by VÍTKOVICE ARÉNA, a.s. With a capacity of up to 11,000 spectators, it is one of the largest multipurpose arenas in the Czech Republic, and thanks to its modern technical equipment, versatile interior layout options, and wide range of services, it can provide the perfect setting even for the most demanding events.
